What information do we collect?
Currently, we hold the following personal data:
Name, email address, telephone number (if supplied by you), and whether you are a member/non-member/officer of Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage or a member of a sub-committee of Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage.
How do we use the information?
We use your data to contact you by email or text to inform you of our events. Occasionally a member may be contacted by phone call in relation to an event or meeting or in relation to a historical enquiry.
Your personal data will only be available to the officers of Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage for the above reasons and will not be passed on to any third party without your permission.

We will retain your data until you request removal from our database (see previous section).
How do we secure, store and retain your data?
What is our policy on photographs?
Occasionally, group photographs may be taken during events organised by Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage. If you do not wish your photograph to be placed on our website or Facebook page, or indeed if you do not wish your photograph to be taken at all, please inform the events organiser or the photographer on the day.
Members’ personal data is updated on an annual basis on renewal of membership.
Paper records which are no longer to be retained by Dúchas Clonakilty Heritage are destroyed by shredding.
