Details: Woodfield, Clonakilty is the birthplace of the Irish Republican Leader, Michael Collins. This heritage centre tells his story, from his birth in 1890 until his death in 1922. Visitors can first learn about Michael Collins' childhood by watching a 20-minute film. Then slides, photographs and filmclips take them through the 1916 rebellion and the War of Independence.
